Clinton Global Initiative University (CGI U)

CGI U has been a tremendously energizing and powerful opportunity for WILL WORK FOR FOOD. CGI U has helped us grow over the past years from an ambitious idea to an active national initiative by connecting WWFF with like-minded students and organizations. Our "Commitment to Action" has brought WWFF representatives to international CGI U conference in New Orleans in 2008, Austin in 2009, Miami in 2010, San Diego in 2011, Washington DC in 2012, and most recently Tempe in 2014.

University of Michigan

U of M's President and Provost offices recognized the WILL WORK FOR FOOD initiative for its unique service learning opportunities. The President and Provost offices provided essential funding for our national launch in Fall of 2009 and continues to support our 100% student run organization. Ann Arbor remains the home of the WWFF Headquarters team.

In the Fall of 2008 Google awarded WILL WORK FOR FOOD with one of their competitive AdWords in the Community grants. The grant gives us the equivalent of $10,000 per month in targeted online advertising.

DELL Social Innovation Competition

WILL WORK FOR FOOD was selected as a semifinalist in the 2009 Dell Social Innovation Competition. As a part of the competition, a panel of judges evaluated the WWFF business plan and provided us with valuable feedback.

Darfur Dream Team

A dynamic coalition of students, professional athletes, and international aid organizations. As a part of Enough's Sister School Initiative, students in the United States help provide Darfuri refugee children with a quality education. "Captained" by NBA starts Tracy McGrady, Baron Davis and Derek Fisher.
